Driftless Search and Rescue

We are a small group of active outdoor enthusiast volunteers establishing a Wilderness Search and Rescue in the Driftless area of Southwestern Wisconsin and surrounding communities. We are working towards 501(3)(c) non-profit status. We will be raising money to buy search and rescue supplies. Our primary current activity is search, and in particular search for individuals that have gone missing in the wilderness.

Our current members are active ski patrollers for the National Ski Patrol and have been certified in Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) and trained in Mountain Travel and Rescue. We come from a variety of useful backgrounds including medicine and computer technology (OSINT). Our headquarters is currently in Waunakee Wisconsin. We are not currently seeking additional volunteers but as our operation matures we may add additional team members. Please contact us at our Facebook Page.
